Apple and Intel

It was announced yesterday in the annual WWDC keynote by Steve Jobs that Apple will move to using Intel processors from 2006. This is cool, because it means faster laptops as well as certainty in terms of development of the Mac. It also completes the transition from low-volume high-price parts to the same components as used in PCs. This means that the Mac will be more accessible price-wise as ever. Also, it will allow to unleash the full power of Mac OS X, which is really fantastic. Go Apple!
