Apple Worldwide Developers Conference approaching
Posted: August 3rd, 2006 | Author: Kari | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »Monday is an important day for Apple and Mac fans as Apple Computer’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off with a keynote by Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs. He is to give a preview to the next major update to the Macintosh operating system, the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, which is expected to be released early 2007. No one really knows what else is in store, but wild speculation by rumour sites and industry analyst is all around. Will there be new Mac computers? An updated iPod? Some completely new, but instantly desirable piece of technology? Nobody knows, but Steve.
Steve Jobs’ keynotes are not just regular product presentations, but highly polished and rehearsed events, where he awes everyone with his now legendary reality distortion field. Apple is extremely secretive of new products and services, which maximises the impact of keynotes such as the one coming up on 7 August.
