Michael Jackson – Elizabeth, I love you

I was scouring YouTube and came across this little gem. Imagine that you have a friend who happens to be a world famous singer and you are a world famous actress. And then the world famous singer writes a beautiful birthday song to you and performs it as well.

Some trivia: MJ has also written a birthday song to a cartoon character. That was Lisa Simpson from the Simpsons. MJ also provided the voice of a chracter in the Simpsons episode “Stark Raving Dad” (under pseudonym John Jay Smith), but was not allowed to sing the birthday song due to contractual obligations. Similarly, MJ secretly wrote the only bigger the Simpsons hit “Do the Bartman”, but this was not known until late 1990s when Simpsons author Matt Groening talked about it in an interview.
